Your jumping the gun by putting this trade on your roster already Posters. The Commish (Dennis) hasn't approved it yet. I'm a little iffy on it.

Poster first you must remove those players from you roster as Wayne has said trade not approved,# 2 Before I approve this trade which to me looks like Detroit traded O vech for a bag of pucks and some new hockey sticks I want to hear the reasoning from the both of you, fair enough

I have to be perfectly honest. I don't get into competitive dynasty and contract leagues to have to explain my decisions. If that is the case, that means I cannot have my own value of players. I also cannot believe you think Voracek and Hamilton are a bag of pucks and hockey sticks. That doesn't make sense. If you think this is bad, which I actually like this deal for my team or I wouldn't be doing it, you should have seen the other offers I have received for him and Stamkos.
If you don't want the trade to go through feel free to put it up to the votes. But I feel no need to have to explain myself. I read the rules and I see there is a process. Let the process begin.

Some of the pros & cons. Ov is a great player, but has a high contract & may leave to play in Russia someday, but I doubt that. Voracek is good & may become better. Hamilton could become a great player. Mantha was a 20th pick in this year's NHL draft. I'm iffy on it, but would lean toward letting it go, because it is more of a contract dump. Boston assumes lots of $. However, because of Ovechkin's status, I think we should wait a couple of days & let some other Managers give their opinion before the trade is approved. Tim, you are new to the league & that is what is done here, if the trade is a close call.

If needed maybe the Bruins and I can figure out something else that could be added to the trade to make it fairer.

1) theyre not on my roster on yahoo, im not changing my proboard rosters back and forth. 2) Voracek lead phili in scoring last year (22G) dougie hamilton is only 20 y/o and dressed for 42 games of 48 games last year on boston and mantha scored 50 goals last year in the q (also my first round pick). So thats my bag of pucks and new hockey sticks. we all know who ovechkin is. theres no tampering in this trade, the fact that i have to justify this trade is kind of silly.
I understand you're busy with all new commish work and i support all the work you've done. I've considered co-commishing because I was impressed by your drive as commish, but youre walking on thin ice questioning someone who's been in the league longer than you for tampering. Some GMs here are the backbones of this league (JD, rick, chris etc.) we've sure as hell kept it competitive. If you think the new GMs are not capable, don't blame me for something as ridiculous as cheating. Especially don't make me explain to you of my reasoning for the trade. Most of GMs make 10+ trades a season and we win some and we lose some. If you an I are gonna have trouble this early in the year commish, I suggest one of us to step back and compromise. I can either stop my activity in this league because I don't have 30 minutes every morning after I make a trade to write up an essay justifying my trade, or you can stop being a white knight and go back to being a commish and run the league the proper way you have before we had this "problem".

I don't think he was questioning you for tampering. He is questioning whether the trade is fair. Two completely different topics which I understand since I am a new manager.
Personally I do see it as a fair trade with the salaries involved, and the quality of players I am receiving in return.

Poster,I resent that I have been on this board for a few seasons now,so I am not wet behind the ears.and my choice of words were lame should have been more professional along that line,I apologize for the pucks and stick comments. As for your trade and any other trade I have not questioned any one up to this point, and there have been no complaints, but I have to say something as soon as someone says something,I did not in any way suggest that the deal was underhanded or there was any cheating or in anyway say that there was collusion on anyone's part only to give there reasons behind there thinking, that was all I asked. How fast we forget how I was bombed by Nish because of a trade I did last year,he cried every day sent me emails and posted shit on here every day till I dropped the trade.Detroit just said he felt is was a fair trade,Poster if you honestly feel that what your giving and receiving is fair and you both are happy then I will gladly approve this trade, but since someone complained and I started this lets let the process play out.if know one else objects by 8PM EST then your trade is approved and you may adjust your roster to reflect it is that fair enough for all parties involved

I'm personally happy with the deal. But I understand the process so lets see what that brings about.

With the new rule of a player must not tuck in their jersey coming into play this season maybe OV could be getting more PIMs then Goals this year...haha...
